```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

The applicant will work between 20-40 hours per week, but with flexible hours. The position may start at part time and transition to full time. This is Ideal for someone with a past career who is now a stay at home parent but wants to work now while the kids are in school or while caring for an aging parent. Training will be provided but applicant must have a bookkeeping background. Applicant will report exclusively to the owner of the company.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and tax preparation. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills and is familiar with Quick books software. ```Responsibilities```
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in quickbooks accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
